Upload your catalog

Attach a product export and the answers stop being about the market and start being about your products.

Attach the file

Use the attachment control in the Gemini Enterprise composer, pick your file, and send it with a question:

Here is my catalog. Where am I missing demand?

You can also attach it with no question at all. The agent proceeds either way.

What the file needs

Requirement Detail
Format CSV. The attachment must be sent as text/csv or carry a .csv filename
Required column A product title column. Any of title, product_title, name, product_name, item_title, item_name, heading, product
Useful columns price, description, brand, category or product_type, url, image, sku, currency. Common variants are recognized, for example sale_price, vendor, manufacturer, permalink
Size Up to 12 MB

Titles are the one thing the agent cannot work without, because titles are your product vocabulary and matching them against buyer vocabulary is the whole job. Price is what the pricing work runs on. Brand and category sharpen the grouping.

A standard product export from your store platform normally works without editing. If the file arrives in a format other than CSV, or as a link rather than as file contents, the agent tells you it could not read the attachment instead of quietly answering without it.

Your groups come back first

Reading a full catalog takes longer than a chat turn should. So the agent does the first pass, shows you your catalog organized into product groups, and ends the turn there.

You see something like this:

Your catalog, grouped. Groups 1 to 6 of 23.
Focus on one group to analyse it, or tap Analyze my catalog for the whole catalog.

Each group is a card showing what it contains and how many products are in it. Six are shown at a time, and Show more groups pages through the rest.

This is a deliberate stop, not a finished answer. The full analysis has not run yet.

Then choose your scope

Tap Focus on <group> to analyse that group alone. On a catalog of 581 products, focusing on duvet covers puts the answer on 38 products instead of all of them. The findings are sharper and they arrive faster.

Tap Analyze my catalog to run against everything.

Or just ask your question. Once the catalog is attached to the conversation, ordinary questions work against it.

Across conversations

If your administrator connected sign-in when the agent was registered, your uploaded catalog is saved to your account and available the next time you open the agent. When you have more than one, the agent asks which to use:

Which catalog should I use? Pick one and I will answer from it.

Catalogs are separated by account. Nobody else sees yours.

Without sign-in connected, the upload lives for the conversation only, and the next conversation starts from nothing. See Add the Reach Agent.
